Selection will be as per the rules of reservation of the Government of Tamil Nadu.

- Candidates who have not furnished an attested photocopy of the Permanent Community Card Certificate at the time of submission of the application
will be treated as belonging to “General Category” (OC).
- Community Certificates obtained from other states will not be considered for communal reservation. The candidate will be treated as Open Category.
Reservation for Special Category

||Children of Freedom Fighter
||Differently abled persons (3%) out of
|Orthopaedically Differently abled [OH]
|Hearing Impaired (Deaf) [HI/HH]
|Visually Impaired [VI/VH]
Note: The candidates who claim Special Reservation under Physically Challenged Category should have disability of 40% and above and such candidates have required to produce Medical Certificate from the Medical Board of the District concerned certifying the nature and extent of disability in percentage. The Certificates obtained from an independent Practitioner will not be considered.
Admission for Other State Candidates
The candidates from other States will be considered only under Open Competition.
