Candidates applying for admission to the above mentioned Government Law Colleges will be ranked according to the marks obtained by them in the qualifying examination and on the basis of communal and special reservations.
The percentage of marks obtained by the candidates in the +2 examinations in aggregate of all the subjects excluding languages.
In case of “TIE” (where more than one candidate score same marks in the qualifying examination) the following order of priority shall be followed to determine the rank of the candidates

Candidates who are allotted seat to a Law College in the course of the counselling session based on his/her rank, communal/special reservation, his/her choice and availability of seats in the Law Colleges, cannot seek re-allotment to any other Law College.
5 Year B.A.,B.L Degree: The selected candidate shall remit a sum of 1,620/- (Rupees One Thousand Six Hundred and Twenty Only), payable to the University by cash at the Bank cash counter to be arranged by the University in its premises at the time of counselling.
3 Year B.L Degree:The selected candidate shall remit a sum of 1,520/- (Rupees One Thousand Five Hundred and Twenty Only), payable to the University by cash at the Bank cash counter to be arranged by the University in its premises at the time of counselling.
After counseling, the candidate has to pay the Fee of 1,205/- (Rupees One Thousand Two Hundred and Five Only) payable to Government Law College and at the time of admission to FIRST YEAR in the college.
Fees once paid will not be refunded
Candidates belonging to SC/ST community and Physically Challenged category are eligible for Tuition & Special fee concession subject to the conditions prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu.
