Eligibility: Students who studied one of the following groups in Higher secondary (+2) are eligible to apply
Group I : Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology (OR)
Group II : Physics, Chemistry, Biology with any one of the following subjects as fourth (elective) subject
Group II A : Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology
Eligibility: Students who studied following groups are eligible to apply.
The minimum percentage of marks eligibility for each category is listed below .
|Open competition||55% aggregate of all the four subjects|
|BC and BCM||50% aggregate of all the four subjects|
|MBC and Denotified||45% aggregate of all the four subjects|
|SC and ST||A pass in qualifying examination|
Candidates should not have completed the age of 21 years on the first day of July of the admission year (i.e. as on 1.7.2013) for all the courses. However, for Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes there is no age limit.
The maximum number of permissible attempts to pass in the qualifying examination is as follows: Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes : Three. All other Communities : Two
A student of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University who discontinues a course in the undergraduate program is not eligible for admission again to any undergraduate program of this University.
A certificate regarding the physical standards prescribed shall be obtained from the Medical Officer of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore at the time of admission.
Note: Candidates who aspire for Indian Forest Service (IFS) examination, please check the physical standard requirement with appropriate agency.
