All candidates who have appeared in JEE (Main) 2018 are eligible to register for seat allocation in NIT+ system (except IITs). All candidates who have been declared qualified in JEE (Adv) 2018 are eligible to register for seat allocation in all participating Institutes.
Counselling for IITs and NITs were done separately in 2013 and 2014. However, from 2015 onwards counselling was done jointly for the IITs and the NITs. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2017 has been set up by the Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD) to manage and regulate the joint seat allocation for admissions to 97 institutes for the academic year 2017-18. This includes 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 23 IIITs and 20 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs). Admissions to all the academic programs offered by these Institutes are made through a single platform.

I am glad I came to know about TICF, at the exact moment of Choice filling, and took their help. I couldn’t believe Their wise knowledge in choice filling got me into IIT Bombay with my AIR being 8319, despite having limited number of seats (903) and heavy competition. I am very much thankful to TICF.
