National Talent Search Examination 2016 for 10th School Students
National Talent Search Examination offers 1,000 Scholarships for School Students stdying in +1 throughout the Country.

Eligibility for NTSE Scholarship
- school students pursuing 10th standard in approved Govt. and Govt aided Schools are eligible to apply.
- Should have Good conduct in school and secured minimum of 50% marks in the previous exams.
- The student should have bonafide admission in the class X in the academic year 2013-2014
The selection is made by two stages for award of scholarship. Stage I selection will be done by States/ UTs through a written examination. Students, who qualify Stage I, will be eligible to appear for Stage II examination.
Stage I Exam
Stage I examination consist of two tests. Mental Ability Test (MAT) for 50 maks and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). The Scholastic Aptitude Test has Language Test for 50 marks and Sciences, Mathematics & Social Sciences test for 100 marks.
Stage II Exam
Stage II examination is also have the same procedure. The stage II is conducted by NCERT.

The completed application form should be signed by the Principal or Head Master of the school. Different states may have different last dates for
submission. Please confirm from the liaison officer of your state, the address at which the completed forms are to be submitted. The State wise contact of the Liaison officers. All queries related to application form should be directed to the State Liaison Officers (LOs). No application should be sent to NCERT.
